Islamic Abuse

Just in case you thought you were alone...It needs to be made known that domestic violence transcends culture, religion and race. It dehumanizes the victim, and traumatizes children and otehr family members. It's just not good for the community as a whole.

Signs your partner is abusive

Domestic Violence in the Media

So you've always wanted someone who could take your breath away. Only to find out that they really were trying to take your breath away... by killing you slowly.

There are women who can actually leave a terrible situation, but don't because the partner has notphyshttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifically abused them. They believe that the words don't have a negative impact on their lives..well perhaps not AS negative as they would equate it with physical abuse.

Words are very hurtful to the emotions, and yes, emotions can affect your overall health.

Headaches and migranes can reslt from stressing over the dilemma.
Back problems can ensue.
Your ability to digest even the food you eat can be hamperd by worrying, crying, concern and fear.
Skin breakouts such as rashes or cold sores are also examples of when verbel and emotional abus wear away at your being.

Hello World

I never thought I would be a victim of spousal abuse. I thought that things like that happened to dysfunctional, irrational people with issues. I thought that women who decided to stay with someone who was abusing them whether verbal or physical needed a shrink and a little backbone. I thought they liked the abuse because they stayed.
I thought men who inflicted abuse were wicked to the core incapable of true love or emotion. I was mostly right about the men and totally wrong for the most part with my view on women. I grew up. This blog is dedicated to anyone and their families who has been a victim of one of the most insiduous evils, Partner abuse.
